This working session is dedicated to the analysis of the gastronomic offer in luxury hotels in Spain.

Most luxury hotel chains are present in Spain and we have a large number of hotels with Michelin-starred restaurants, as well as many others run by chefs who have Michelin stars in their own establishments.

  • Presentation by guest participants of Turespaña of high level gastronomy offer in the hotel chains of Madrid using this proposal as an example at the national level.
  • Knowledge degree of the offer in the sending countries
  • Comparison of our country with our main competitors.
  • Communication tools to use gastronomy to promote our luxuy hotels offer.
    What degree of attraction can it represent for travelers?
    – What is the degree of knowledge?
    – How can it be sold in the different sending countries?
    – Can value-added actions such as historical / cultural offer of Paradores be incorporated into the offer?
  • Transfer to the Mandarin Oriental Ritz Hotel (walking distance)
  • Lunch at the Mandarin Ritz Garden. Menu based on traditional recipes prepared by Quique Dacosta (chef with seven Michelin stars) 
  • Continuation of the morning session
  • Pick-up at the hotel and transfer to the restaurant
  • Dinner at Hotel NH Collection Madrid Eurobuilding prepared by chef Rafa Zafra (two Michelin stars). You can find more than haute cuisine at luxury hotels.
